"Dsscats" (dsscats)

Pretty ridiculously cool. Pity everyone at the dealer was really pompous. It was a twin turbo (of course) 5-speed (of course) with the tan leather interior and ugly wing. It was very very clean, as is expected, with under 500 original miles. I believe it was something like 465. Buuuut the guy at the dealer didn't even want to give me the time of day....
There was also the second 350Z ever made. With a supercharger and nice Nismo wheels. Also 6 speed and mint.
And a super mint Z31 Shiro (1/1002 made). It had around 88k miles, but was closer to flawless than the Z32. It also was complete with the badass factory Recaros.
And this red thing.
And some super clean S30s.

Ha, now we know what you look like!!
Seriously though, what is this place with immaculate Nissans just lying around? And did they have old Datsun trucks?

I've always hate those caps, they never fit the car, I am so glad I found my S30 with the dealer option slotted aluminum mags. They look nice though. Yellow one looks like a late 71' or 72' and I can't see the silver one well enough. Mine is an early 72' and still has some series one stuff on it, I still need to paint mine and I have the ugly bumper strips along the side I have to weld out, but I don't want to cheap out so I'm waiting.

The silver one was on Mags, but I thought it was cool to see that someone DIDN'T throw them away haha. Also, I'd love to see your S30!!!
Speaking of rare options, there were dealer installed metal sunroofs on a very small set of S30s. I've seen a grand total of 3.

It was an exotics dealer, but the Zs were owned by the owner of a Nissan dealer (awesome awesome guy, by the way). There were no Datsun trucks, sadly.

No love for such a reliable workhorse *sniff*
Still, nice to know there's a few examples of classics in dealer-lot condition

Don't worry, we've got plenty of nicely preserved Datsun trucks here in SoCal.

that wing isn't that ugly. It's more subtle than a lot of other factory wing options *cough*cobalt ss*cough*

The only thing separating that last Z from Vin Dieselfication is that dealership. If they ever sell it, it's game over.

Hey, you're in SoCal too? Universal City Nissan has been nothing but great to us Z guys. They've hosted a meet and brought cars out to our events. These actually belong to Mike Sage, who runs Universal City Nissan. There's also a guy who works there who has an S30 with 400k+ on the chassis.

I saw a 300ZX today too, no details, but was white & primer grey on all aftermarket bumpers, skirts, & wing. Depressing.

I think the wing looks quite nice.

Here she is at the beach when we got a break in the rain yesterday.
Still working on her. I don't think I've seen a sunroof other than a crap hack job.

I love this entire post. Those S30s are on point. How in gods name did they manage to keep a Z32 with so few miles?

Z32 driver here. Just seems like a waste. The car has served no purpose to anyone for 18 years...who cares how good its condition if it's been completely unused since it was made?

Yup, I'm in Gardena. Those guys sound awesome! I see Jun Imai's cars all the time here at work, so I'm in love with Z's and 510's. My first car was a 93 S13, despite being a hardcore Toyota guy from the very beginning.

IS300. After I got rid of the 240, I got a Mk3 Supra, then 2 more Supras, and in between those a Scion xB, and finally my Lexus.
