First voyage in the Bruiser. It wasnt long, just down the back of my friends property. He's welding in new floors for me.
I also found out that I have no clue how the 4wd works on that thing. You're in 2wd, you want four low, here's how that happens. I just hope I didnt hurt anything.
So you must pull over, put the van in neutral, park brake on anf shut the engine off in case the transmission is still spinning apparently. Then you put the t case in four low, and then fiddle with the old fashioned manual locking hubs. Stiff from lack of use.
Then you find out that you didn't actually get the hubs locked in, and you dig two nice deep holes in your friends yard, because you're still in 2wd. Woops.
In other news, the winch still works a treat, we had to take the wheels off, put the van on wheels Dolly's and pull it into the garage with the winch, because this tank is as tall as an office tower.

Question: How many babies have been conceived inside it?

Probably none. It was a bell Canada work van for most of its life.

It needed a bit more than that, but that being said it was in very good shape. All it needed for the safety was the floor patch and rear brakes.

Ive wanted this thing for a very long while. Also, the front end is all new, and there are a whole bunch of goodies hiding underneath. New tires, Rancho shocks, the winch, new locker in the rear etc... Worth it. I would have payed more.
