So we're doing a secret santa and I have my brother-in-laws girl friend. O asked him what she wanted. He said she wants a new clutch. I said wtf she drives an automatic. He said it's not that kinda clutch.

I figure that's what they meant, but really they ought to get a clutch in a clutch. If it wasn't secret Santa then I'd be wrapping up a dirty old junkyard clutch and handing that over with the real gift hidden well away. Come to think of it, that may be why no-one's ever asked me to join in a secret Santa...

Owner of a small town shop I worked at told me that ATs have a secret clutch and gear that only engage at highway speeds, and that it takes special 'trained ears' to detect when they engage

Fossil and Vera Bradley have some cute clutches/wristlets you can probably find cheap-ish, and Coach is ok if she's the type to want logos all over the thing.
