Greetings Lords and Ladies,
Today we will be tasting Great Value Peach Soda. If you aren't familiar with Great Value brand products I suggest you go slumming amongst the plebes and visit a Wal-Mart store. It's really great they have such cheap things! And everything your butler or valet might want for christmas can be bought at one store!
Now onto the soda.
I was test driving the miata to see if my attempts to adjust the throttle cable had any affect on the wierd idle oscillation when stopped. I went to walmart and lucky for me I had $.84 in my pocket to try this new flavor.
This is the house brand of Wal-Mart and cost $.84 for a 2 liter. First off notice the color it is a generic orange pink sort of color that says PEACH with all caps stuck on. Pouring it is very carbonated with a head that quickly goes away. Using a standard glass one can appreciate the aroma which is very like a fresh peach skin. It also tastes a lot like an actual peach amazing since its all artificially flavored. The aroma is so strong and peach like its like eating a peach with the tart sort of smell and taste at the back of the throat. I very much appreciate that this soda is neither too sour and acidic nor is it too sweet and cloying that one cannot appreciate the fruit flavor.
This is excellent and easy to drink and very refreshing. I cannot wait to make a Peach Melba float by putting in some vanilla ice cream or some Breyers peach ice cream.
10/10
-Great value and performance for the money
-MSRP of only $.84 unbelievable and hits as hard as sodas is much higher base prices.
-By the base model as no other options are available or needed.
-can't wait to test this with other drink such as ginger ale or cream soda

Sounds like something that would go well with vodka.

You made me very thirsty. I'm probably going to Tim Hortons to buy a bottle of peach juice.

Yeah, the Great Value sodas are pretty good.
My favorite is the Cherry Limeade, which is amazing when the price is taken into consideration.
Just avoid the Coconut Wave. I tried that, and it was AWFUL, and that's coming from someone who likes stuff with coconut flavor.

Bourbon is my first choice but I'm pro-beer if I'd like to not be plastered after just one hour.

What if I told you it would be suicide to sell a soft drink with artificial colours and flavours here in the UK?
Something something bad for health.

It wouldn’t be $.84 then. Well at least that is what beverage companies suggest. Is artificial crap really bad for health?

Here’s a classic Dandelion & Burdock from Tesco , 55 Pence for 2L which is coincidentally 83 cents at the current exchange rate. no sugar, Flavouring is from Dandelion and Burdock Extract, does have a preservative though. Here’s another Tesco Treat Pink Lemonade for 40p
Even ASDA , a Wal-mart company does similar. You’re being lied to Frank!
The turning point for me was when I was stateside last year and had a Fanta and read the label, it hadn’t even been close to a real orange.
our fanta is lighter and is made with Orange juice.

those vicious bastards! I love sodas and usually the more natural is the best tasting. You pay through your teeth for a good beverage round here. $1.25-$2.00 for a small glass bottle. a lot of times I just make a egg cream or splash some orange sparkling water with some orange bitters or something.
It is really stupid how cheap you can get those beverages and here is it considered a premim soft drink or some such crap and anything in a small glass bottle which you have to get the “premium” soft drink in costs like $5 for a 4 pack.
I need to make my own ginger beer again.

Well we aren’t allowed to have your cheap beverages anymore, something something clamping down on our freedoms. But of course here it’s in the governments interest to at least attempt to make us slightly healthy to ease the strain on the NHS. I mean even some of these are pretty bad for you. I enjoy maybe a can of Pepsi Max or an Orange Tango maybe once a day, most of the time it’s water or a cup of tea (because British)

Soda is terrible for humans and possibly anything with DNA but I also enjoy a tasty beverage. It seems over here the american way is protect the money making corporations instead of the consumer and lots of people think they should be able to do whatever they want even drink gallons of soda a day. Its common to see these giant 100oz mugs and invariably some land whale filling it up.

I can only imagine that the video is really shocking, because it’s not available in my country. it must be awful, because we show these during prime time shows over here.
and the screams at the end really make this one.

holy crap thats gnarly.
it was a clip from an episode of parks and rec in which they are talking to a paunch burger representative who is defending a soda cup the size of a small child. hopefully this one works.
