Build Threads latest entry. I'm not a huge mustang fan, but I do love a rebuild that has suspension components clean enough to eat from.
I've not read it, about to start the build thread now, read along with me and comment below.

love the notching of the bumper support, painted and looking like it was a factory design
I do suspect the ripples in the support are so it can crumple, so that's likely not going to work anymore

I dig the IRS swap, but not sure about what appears to be a red power wire running alongside fuel or brake lines?

"The first full pull made 556rwhp/614rwtq, which was a bit too much for my comfort with the block the car has, so the timing on the top end was backed down and the car made a nice strong 495rwhp/494rwtq"
yes! its not about big numbers, its about safe reliable power. I like his style

well, he redid the battery wiring, but it's still not separated from fluid lines. not sure if that's ok or not, but I'd avoid it if I were him.

The power wire has circuit breakers at both ends and fuses at the front as well. The wire has very thick insulation and I also sheathed it in Techflex's abrasion resistant wire sheathing. Anywhere the wire contacts a hard edge of anything there is a piece of rubber hose wrapped around the techflex to prevent any damage. I have no concerns about the setup whatsoever. The red wire you saw previously was from a shop that did a battery relocation for me in the past, very sloppily I might add... another reason I no longer have anyone do anything for me anymore.

The support will still crumple, albeit less easily than it would from the factory. I elected to go this route rather than cutting out the support all together like some guys I've seen, because I would rather have an actual bumper behind the bumper cover. That way, if I ever get into a minor fender bender the whole front of the car won't be demolished!
