When did hipsters and Emo kids start dricing muscle cars? Like I'm seeing it on a damn-near daily basis now. I thought un eco-conscious cars were uncool to them?!

Emo kids with dricing muscle cars? Explain? What is "dricing"?

That doesn't make any sense. Hipsters and emos all drive shitty volvos, miatas, and w123 wagons like we do. Wait...

"Maybe if I buy my son a muscle car, he will find a girlfriend."
"Huh, turns out girls didn't like his horrible personality, not his lack of a muscle car."

You'd think the hipsters would all drive Stanley Steamers and Benz Patent Motor Wagens...you know, from before driving was 'mainstream'.

I know two Hipsters that have 'Stangs. They've had them for a while in fact. Heres their cars together.
I fail to see the problem …. or why its an issue.

Most Mustangs I see are driven by women. Camaros are middle-aged men.
Maybe be location? Fairfax, VA area for me.

Cville over here, I agree. Camaros are for ~45 year old dudes while women mostly drive mustangs. Challangers are for younger guys but most just drive WRX's or BMW's.

I don't waste effort judging people just because they consider themselves hipsters. The truth about being a "hipster" is that it's all in the mind of the individual in question, and it's really not my place to insert myself inside that internal discourse.

I actually see quite a few Challengers driven by women, too. Centerville Road, there's a grey one with black stripes and a black one that are regulars in the morning traffic, both helmed by ladies. I see new WRXes driven by old men, old ones driven by college dudebros. 3ers are driven by the entire range of people.

By all means judging people is bad, goes without saying. But I'm also self aware and currently have on thick framed glasses that go nicely with the beard.

Hipster is an evolution of scene, which is an evolution of emo. It's part of the same lineage.

Good point. I assume hipsters would be fine with a reproduction as long as it's useless and awful, then they can have more than one of them.

name is slipping my mind, I have his card somewhere in my car, but he was an older middle eastern guy.
It was a 2010 E350 with around 50k on it.

Those are the guys who told me to put in an app after I essentially sold a car for them and then told me they were full house on staff when I did so. @_@
Still, nice facilities and pretty good staff. Not pushy at all and no tricks. This was before you joined them (and was around the time the ATS just came out), so I don't know what they're like, now. I hope they're still the same.

They're a bit more pushy, but still fair. I just started after they got a new GSM. There's some things we need to fix to get back where we were, but I think it'll get there.

ah there we go! The E-class was actually going to be for my dad, but I liked it way more than I expected, and with how low the price was I almost ended up in it haha. You guys have a nice dealership, still have the blue ATS coupe in the showroom? Have you ever checked out that small dealer next to yours, Washington motorcars? That place is heaven...

The blue one actually ended up outside on the front patio to help get people in from 50 lol. We have red and champagne coupes inside around the tree now with a 15 Escalade.
And I know! I'm always watching that place. My favorite days are the warm ones that he pulls out the RX-7s!

yes! I had some pictures but my phone got reset. Such a cool dealership. If I'm ever in the area I'll be sure to stop by. You guys tend to have a pretty nice pre owned selection. Are the '15 escalades moving well? I've been seeing a few of them on the road. I know you guys had some 2014's leftover and I love those.

They were moving pretty well for a while. But there's a hold up at the plant now and we're missing pretty much all of our November and December ones. So now all we have left are color combos that nobody wants.
