I arrived home earlier today for Christmas break. I had the local garage replace the stock motor mounts with stiffer aftermarket units while I was gone. Apparently the old ones were on their way out. I also had them install some SS brake hoses for me and do the FM alignment. She is nearly ready for my first real season of AutoX.

Awesome, sounds like the Miata is going to feel great!

The motor mounts definitely made a difference. Higher RPM shifting is noticeably smoother.

What mounts did you go with?

I want to do this because it is supposed to be a good upgrade but don't want miserable NVH.

Also the diff bushings are supposed to be a good upgrade as well.

What alignement did you go with? I need to do this ASAP.

They are Mazda Competition mounts. I bought them from Moss Motors because they had them for the best price. But they still come in plastic labeled Mazda Genuine OEM. Im also thinking about replacing the diff bushing as well. Moss has that one to. I went with the Flyin Miata alignment. Someone on here actually gave me a better/more aggressive alignment setup. But he said his didn't account for tire wear, so I am going to stick with the FM one for now. I can tell there is a difference, the car feels more composed.
