remember those military hummers for sale at auction? here is the one I would have bought. also they are from hill afb which is like an hour away it would have been perfect! if only I wasn't poor. I picked it cuz it looks more solid has all the parts and that cool hardtop.

Kinja'd!!!

Where can someone even get parts?

AFAIK these can't be registered to drive on the road.

There were a bunch more in varying condition one sold for $38,000

Kinja'd!!!

1. Can be registered as a normal vehicle as they are old enough for antique tags usually

2. Parts are pretty easy either as aftermarket or GM for that horribly weak and awful 6.2 diesel

3. You don't want it, when they have been driven they are ridden harder than all the rental cars of the world + cop cars + repossessed cars x 2

Tomorrow on the front page:

"You can buy a HUMMV for the price of a new Accord!"

The FP went over this yesterday(?), the guidelines of the auction state that these are for offroad use only.

It may depend on where you live. I know you can register these in TN.
