Of course it is! Simple mathematics says that 2X = 2*(X(1)), by the distributive property. You don't want Polyphony to break the laws of mathematics, do you?

It's pretty darn quick in a straight line, but the handling could be improved. It's definitely no fancar when it comes to cornering.

Agreed. I left my first comment after fooling around with the 2X with just a DS3 and the steering is just awful with a controller. I plugged in my DFGT wheel last night and wow, the difference is night and day. It will hold a center line through the final corner at High Speed Ring at 200mph with no problem. It's a really interesting car, and I'm looking forward to doing some actual wheel-to-wheel races with it.
