Not to rain on your parade, but speaking as a tech college career services director, game development is an incredibly hard field to break into.
My campus in Madison, WI doesn't offer that program, our sister campus in Milwaukee did but is winding it down. There's one somewhat well-known game development studio here in Madison where my buddy is the in-house recruiter (we both interviewed for the same job but he got it because he's a gamer and I mostly just use my PS3 to watch Netflix). They mostly want to hire experienced people rather than people coming right out of school, and since those experienced people aren't here in Madison, they recruit from all over the country.
If it's something you really want to get into, I strongly suggest that before you sign up, search around for as many studios as you can find, and see if there any cities you'd like to live in that have a significant amount of studios.

Trust me I have been doing research on game dev sense my freshman year of HS I also might get a regular Comp Sci AAS instead cause that will give me more open field. Also I have already looked into the studios I like. This isn't something on a whim.

Ok, sounds like you've got a good picture of what to expect. Just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting yourself into.

Long nights, stressful environment, Seattle weather or California emissions choke hold or Texas. I have a general idea where I'll be. I am really interested in Bungie or Turn 10 or 343 because I know they will have big games on the horizon though I'm not opposed to other studios.

Valve puts all their software out there for free (don't quote me). So get on steam and give it a whirl.
