This is pretty close to my ideal truck, Reg Cab, Short bed,RWD and fast as hell. You can still do many truck things if need be but totally annihilate the 1320 when you need to get some speed out of your system. The ultimate lumber hauler!

There was a wild muscle truck convey near one of the parks where I run at. I saw a beautifully maintained GMC Syclone amongst the Lightnings, Rams, and Silverados. I'm not a truck guy but I was freaking the fuck out when that Syclone drove past.

I can't say I've ever even seen a Syclone in person. I've only seen a Typhoon once going the opposite direction. I can see why you got excited.

Can't go wrong with a diesel drag truck.

I just have a feeling it would be way (WAY!) more expensive to build a diesel rig vs a gas job.

If you do it yourself, it's not that bad. Parts are expensive, but stuff breaks less often.
