I love that the stripe across the bottom forms an angle. Dat structural rigidity.

That's common for Ford's of that era. Part of me wants to go see it, but most of me says it's a waste of gas.

I flatly refuse to believe this machine is safe in any aspect important to any automobile.

It has 3 tanks so that you only have to figure out how to maneuver it through a gas station once every 2000 miles. Or 500 more likely.

The only way the answer is Miata in this case is if the question is "What goes in that eleven foot bed?"

I was behind a fairly new one (late 00's) on a rough road, didn't realize F150s were made of noodles still. My Chevy probably does, but I don't follow my truck while I drive it, and I haven't noticed others doing this.

Imagine showing up in that to a track day with Miata in the bed.

Let's be honest, all trucks do to some extent. Kinda what happens when you have a lightweight, roofless, empty box sitting over heavy-duty suspension.

If I wasn't broke, and it wasn't more than an hour away, I would go check it out. I tried to convince my IDI owner friend to buy it, but he is busy getting his truck more road worthy.

I imagine the torque would twist that stretched frame into a pretzel.
