Let's pretend that I may want to buy something at the Marussia auction that starts tomorrow. They make it very clear that you, or your shipping agent, are responsible for removing the item within 3 days. Does anyone have any really experience with shipping agents and getting small items shipped to the US?

If it's small it just needs to be boxed and shipped via common carrier (DHL, UPS, FedEx, EMS, etc.) If you were at the auction, you could take said item to a shipping place and ship it. If you're not at the auction, you need to have it boxed and shipped by someone locally. That's as far as my limited knowledge on the subject goes.

There's a man who leads a life of logistics
To everyone he meets he sees damage statistics
With every move he makes
Another chance he takes
Odds are he won't see the box tomorrow

They've given you a tracking number and taken down your name
Beware of pretty parcels that you find
A pretty parcel can hide some junk mail
Oh, be careful what you say
Or you'll ship yourself away
Odds are you will see the box tomorrow

Swinging on the Riviera one day
And then laying in a Bombay alley next day
Oh, don't you let the wrong package ship
While taping up precious items with a single strip
Odds are you will see the box tomorrow

This is the best thing I've seen on the internet all day. Thanks for the laugh.
