I used to have an '08 2.0T, The only major problem had something to do with an oil consuming problem. I ended up having to have the engine pulled, but that happened just around 60,000 miles. So that one should be good to go.

I think it was something about the TCB.

It was covered under warranty, I still didn't know the specifics of it. I'm pretty sure I could have lived with it, but it was a little bit annoying having to carry around a box full of oil with me all the time.

You're gonna wish you hadn't offered! Whilst previously owning some examples of auto Bavaria I've never crossed the Audi or VW border so it's all fresh ground to me. To Quattro or not to Quattro? And do you know anything about the C6 Avants?!

I'd say to Quattro. It's a great system, nothing ever goes wrong with the system itself and you'll be super grateful in the rain, and snow. Plus all of the Audi people don't like FWD :P

I don't know much about the C6 Avant though sadly, Always above my budget, Haha.

Well you should've said To Quattro straight away! Realistically I want to spend no more than £5k on a diesel estate. Having just got rid of a stupid, expensive, pointlessly depreciating car I want to replace it with something a bit more useable, fun, economical... you name it. Got an Alfa 159 1.9JTD wagon on the shortlist, that's it. Do all Audi engines come in Quattro, or just the bigger ones? A 2.0TD Quattro would be just perfect.

I'm pretty sure that most Audi engines have the option of Quattro. With some combinations you can't get both manual and Quattro though.
