Axle refuses to come off the stub shaft. Halp!
Update: big time fail. Couldn't get apart no matter what I tried. Even tried swapping tripods out and leaving the old axles. New and old axles not compatible with each other. So I just lobbed a crap load of new grease inside the old one and put it back together. Hopefully it holds for another couple thousand miles until I can get in for a second try.

Axle refuses to come out so we are just gonna yank this car right off the jack.

If you're doing what I think you're doing, I hope the Chrysler doesn't come right off the jacks.

Using the come along to provide pulling force while i whack away with the air hammer. Stupid rust.

Me too! I've got a backup jack under it and I'm only pulling so hard with the come along while i hammer the tripod housing... Hoping to break the rust loose from the splines.

Putting a lot of sidewards force on a car on jack stands is not a good thing to do.

Not my first choice either. Not even my second choice.

Pry bar. I've had axles stuck pretty good on my Escort and it just takes for fucking ever. I had one that was partially fused to the differential. Fortunately that was when I was installing an LSD so fucking up the seals and the diff were not an issue.

Have you tried tapping the end in (towards the center of the car)? Maybe that will loosen some of the rust. Also, can you get a torch on where it connects to the transaxle? maybe a little heat might make things expand enough to break free...

The grim reaper called and said he'll be there in ten. Seriously at least chain the other side of the car to something else solid!

Hit it with sledge, framing hammer, and air hammer while pulling on it with the come along... Nothing
And no heat. All I have is a little propane torch. Seemed little effective.

Last time I did a similar job we used a beefy hub puller and some mallets.

It's not going anywhere with the amount of force I have on it. I'm not going to pull it off the stands.

PS9s guide to fixing a busted 00s era Chrysler;
Step 1) Dispose of the 00s era Chrysler completely.
Step 2) Replace with Hellcat.

Go buy a mapp gas torch and save yourself time plus hundreds in damage. It's worth every penny.

I appreciate your predicament and I feel for you but what you have there, is a big pile of nope. Your small propane torch, is a better choice than your current setup. The list of things that could go wrong, is a long one.

Can you fit a small scissor-jack behind the axle?

Shoot some PB'laster down into the splines and come back in a couple days. I always hit every single thing that needs to come apart with that stuff once or twice a day for a few days in advance of when I'll be working.

I love gravity. It's what's keeping me from smashing into nearby structures at hundreds of miles per hour.

I keep a can in my tool box. I had to take off a power steering pump to get the pulley replaced, and one of the fittings wouldn't budge for shit. Sprayed with PB Blaster let it soak for about 30 seconds, and the thing came off like soft butter. I've never turned back, PB Blaster is magic.

A good hub puller and PB blaster at any rusted spots should do the job. Are you sure there isn't another fastener at the other end?
