I used to hate Bentley Continental GT, but now i love it. The moment of light comes when i saw the GT3 version of it.
Seriously, that thing looks awesome. I love that car.
And oh, here's one without the livery. Because i love that thing.

Used to hate the Maybach 62S because Top Gear hated it.
Got a chance to ride in one, (57 but whatever) and loved it. So I love Maybach now.

The new version of the Dodge Charger. Since the version that came out in 2006 I had thought they had a sort of undeserved "badass" reputation just because it looked more aggressive than its competitors. Of course, I was ignorant in the ways of the hemi at that time, but that didn't matter since most people didn't have one.
Anyways, once the 2011 redesign came out, I thought they looked so stupid. Hated the taillights and the new front end. However, now that they've been out awhile and I see them in the milieu of other modern cars, I think they're fairly attractive.
Then, Hellcat. My conversion is complete.

I used to hate the 911 because Jeremy Clarkson hated it....that slowly changed over time and eventually I bought a 964 about a year ago

The Nissan Juke. I thought it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. The design grew on me, though, which is a good thing because my partner bought one. It's pretty fun to drive, though our old Suzuki SX4 was better at driving in the snow. I don't even hate the CVT, it seems to be paired well with the turbo (but sucks with every other engine Nissan pairs it with).

The Dodge Viper. I used to hate its unabashed brutishness, before I realized that it's an American TVR. Pretty much the only American car I actually like, really.

I hated the Juke when I first read the test by Edmunds.
Two months later, I'm about to purchase one (never did, but still).
However, the one car that truly has changed in my eyes is this guy:
Granted, it did undergo a mild facelift to remove the beak, but other aspects of it grew on me. I can honestly say it's one of the classier looking cars in the class, and was also available with AWD, V6, and a 6 Speed Manual.

I haven't seen it as much recently but it's pretty common to see people in the comments section hating on a car or singing its praises while quoting a top gear host without ever seeing, riding, or driving the car themselves.

Yup, I think to truly hate a car, you have to experience it and then decide that you don't like it. In the case of the Maybach, I just thought it was an overpriced Mercedes. But it was so much more than that. It's an amazing car to be inside.

Its still polarizing. Try as I might (and I really have tried) I can't like its looks.
