I just brought a S15 & RSX Model kits, I don't know anything about building them, so some tips would be nice.

you don't need as much glue as you think you do. A little bit of glue will go a loooong way and hold a lot together.

Rough up the plastic surface slightly before painting with a slightly abrasive sponge or fine wet and dry, gives you a better paint finish

hobby paint is weird. Get a range of brushes size wise. Superglue is only to be used when regular bonder doesn't work. Don't overpaint something. follow the instructions. Fingernail clippers work well for cutting off those things that connect to the injection molded frame. Have fun. Those suspension parts might be a bitch but you'll Have a great thing in your room when you finish it.

Prime then spray paint on in thin coats and use toothpicks to apply glue.

It good to see people still doing these things. I still do as well including gundams and I need a shit load of space for it lol. Anyways here are a couple of things if you want a "perfect" look:
- Sand/Shave/Cut (with a soft-grip razor) off the remaining plastic "nobs" after you remove it from the template for a smoother look
- Spray paint is the way to go unless you have time to brush it. MODEL SPRAY PAINT
- Use basic spray paint technique. Use clear coat after. 3-4 prime coats 2-3 clear coats
- Wet sand (hella fine grain) all the plastic pieces excluding windows before painting
- Tamiya Cement is a great glue. It doesn't lose hold after a really long time
- BE CAREFUL WITH THE GLUE on the windshield. It will permanently damage the look
- Tweezers are your best friend with decals and head/tail light, mirror stickers
- The mesh is Carbon Fiber and use metallic gray spray paint on your wanted "part"

I built a ton of model kits when I was younger (like, until I left home for college, tbh). My best resource for auto models was www.automotiveforums.com . They (Used to? Haven't been back in ages) have an excellent and well-moderated modeling sub-forum which is where I learned everything.
