"Saracen" (manualdoucheelitist)

The Highs:
367bhp and 343lb-ft pushing 3350 lbs of MQB AWD goodness.
Fully defeatable traction control.
Haldex system is tuned for tail-happy antics.
seven speed DSG (if you're into that sort of thing)
Quattro script in the front grille (yes, I love it)
The Lows:
No manual gearbox (not surprising)
US Availability is still on the fence. If we do get it, it will be a sedan.

"Fully defeatable traction control" Hmmmmmmmm. I sure hope so.
Otherwise, the want is strong.

It's fully defeatable in my MK6 Golf R with a VAG COM tweak.
It's fully defeatable in the MK7 Golf R out of the box.
So I'm sure it will be the case for the RS3.

Ah, I do remember the VAG COM tweak required on the MK6 just to turn it all off.
At least they're giving the sportiest models the chance to be free.

In a segment first, Audi will offer carbon-ceramic brakes up front, where they'll be pinched by eight-piston calipers,
Another fantastic car the U.S. won't get.

it's a brand at this point. Even Audi's own "quattro" system is no longer quattro. It uses a crown gear center diff, not Torsen.
much like 4Motion/Syncro is a brand, even though VW puts them on longitudinally-engined cars that are actually using an Audi AWD system.
