There are no words to describe this. I guess this is how to paint a car without actually taking anything off.

It's also $6,000. For a shitily repainted old Civic.

I had a customer who had a silver Focus SVT on the outside, but had bright yellow door frames and such. I thought it looked kind of cool.

If you still want it since clean rust free examples of the EG chassis civic are hard to find. Low ball him. That's way over priced even where I live which is deep in the rust belt where rust free drives up prices.

Sometimes I like a different-colored engine bay on a modified car, but this is getting a from me

You only notice it when she opens the doors. Strange, yet cool.

It was his budget homage to the VW Harlequin.

price is way too high, but VXs are rare as hell. Especially stock ones. My brother in law has one and it's stupid fun.

Funny story about Earl.

I had Earl spray an S-10 many years ago. I brought it to them fully prepped, if it unbolted I unbolted and removed it, I even masked the side and rear glass for them in the lot and sprayed the jambs myself.

When I picked it up it looked amazing (the base/clear they used was primo stuff) on the outside. No runs, minimal orange peel, I was shocked.

The interior looked like they opened the doors and fogged the interior with white paint. It was freaking everywhere. It took me two days to clean it all up.

Okay.. Not really "funny".. Sorry.

That's just lazy and cheap. I'd worry about the prep work and how long before that Blue starts flaking off.

I'll give him $900.

For $1000 or less this would be a NP

$6000 for a 22 year old, base model, 159,000 kms, thats been painted pretty badly. Talk about CP. You'd have to be using a CP to buy one.

Moving to Hawaii and didn't want a dark green colored F150. Wanted white, so went to Dodge dealer and they would paint it for $1000 but not do the door frames, etc. I said yes. One of my best decisions. Farm truck, hauling ca-ca all the time, after all.

We sold a good condition one that was 100% stock for $500 to some 17 year old girl. She loved it.

These are considered rare? I guess none of them lasted, or no one kept them because they did sell like crazy. Then again, people generally don't keep boring eco-boxes.
