As a high school student, I obviously spend most of the winter months hoping and praying for a large snowfall, as to get a delay or a cancellation. However, this year is slightly different, as this is my first year driving in the snow. Honestly, it's a bit too much fun. This morning I got the news that we would have a two hour delay. I was jumping up and down with joy.
On the way to school, I felt like this:
Obviously, I am not this guy. Nor was I this sideways. Be careful out there.
Also, I changed my username. It combines two things I love: rallying, and not knowing what the hell is going on. Actually, I hate not knowing what's going on. I'm just forced to live with it.
It turns out that editing the post time on mobile Kinja screws things up. Don't do it.

I've driven my FR-S in the snow twice now, and drove last winter (my first real winter driving experience) in my RWD 4Runner.
RWD + good winter tires + snow = all of the fun.

FWD + All-Seasons + Snow = not as much fun.

AWD + Anytime + Any Weather + Turbo = a good time

Driving in actual Albany sucks because it's just slow, straight roads with a bunch of stop lights, and people that are overreacting to the conditions by going 5 mph.

I had all seasons on the 4Runner, and it was a lot more sketchy than the FR-S has been. Granted I haven't driven the FR-S in anything more than 3 in.

AWD + summer tire + endless snow = constantly hoping not to destroy my brand new car
(last year.... this year will be different)
