The BBC is to turn shows such as Doctor Who, Top Gear and Sherlock into theme park attractions in a British rival to Disneyland.
BBC Worldwide, the corporation's commercial arm, has signed a landmark deal with the company behind a £2bn Paramount Pictures resort planned for Kent.
[..]
The resort is scheduled to open in Swanscombe, Kent in 2020 and hopes to 15 million visitors per year. The south-east of England location was chosen to position the park as a rival to Disneyland Paris.
The BBC said it could not confirm which shows will be developed into rides as negotiations are at an early stage, but it is all but certain that Doctor Who – with its potential for Tardis simulators and Dalek battles – will be the star attraction.
I hope they display some of the guys' creations. Beyond that, what could the Top Gear attractions be?

Much like disney, i would love to see the entrance area to the top gear section of the park to feature a fun looking ride permanently "closed for maintenance". You would see parts of the ride falling off, big explosions and occasional pallets of duck tape being walked into a side entrance. It would a top gear version of modern art welcoming you into the land of high hopes and failure.
I also feel at the center of the themed area there should be an all digital cool wall featuring the latest news in whats cool along with a news ticker below. A certain celebrity reported being seen in a car, Top Gear HQ can send an instant update. I somehow feel that kind of instant power will appeal particularly well to clarkson.
It also wouldn't hurt to see something similar to:
Hot Hatch Bumper Car Soccer
A Camper Van Shooting Gallery
Stig's Lights, Camera, Action, Medic Stunt Spectacular
Hammond's Autobahn (kid sized porsches akin to disney world's Autopia/Tomorrow Land Speedway)
Jame's May's people mover (anyone whose been to tomorrowland understands how awful it would be)
Clarkson's Magic Ride (because who doesn"t want to fly around in a circle in a giant fiberglass clarkson head?
There should be plenty of gift carts around, well stocked with Bovril and reading glasses
Finally all kidding aside i think there should be a Fast Track style coaster ride with a similar layout to the reasonably priced car course but with several added somewhat random j turns.
Or how about P45 tours around the entire park, that i would honestly enjoy very much.
I cant wait.

Wouldn't they just be Hammond-sized then?
I like the shooting gallery, and Tohru's Whack a Hilux. They should add "Drop a piano on a Morris Marina" too.
