Something tells me you wont defend stance so much after you start to DD a stanced car. You also may need a chiropractor. But seriously, congrats. Thats a huge milestone

Nice, it's a shame you can't drive though. Isn't this going to be the case every year in the winter?

As long as I have a car registrated as an oldtimer, sadly yes..

Is it out of reach to get something like an old (but not old enough for old timer rules) micra as a winter runabout? They go for basically nothing here and are reilable. I suppose insuring two cars at a young age would be a complete nightmare though.

That could be possible. Insurance is about 70 euros a year for the Celica so it isn't that much.

Insurance for an other car is more, it is based on accident count I believe and I could drive the first few years under someone elses name so that will be cheaper. The one thing that matters for road tax is the weight of the car. Heavier is more expensive.

Also if I were to drive the Celica all year it would be just a bit more than a Micra. The Celica weighs about 925 kilos

Wow 70 euros is very low, I pay £700. Micras weigh around 850kg I believe.
