C6 Z06.
Last N/A Z06, tons of power, tons of reliability. Shouldn't depreciate too crazy, if you keep it long enough it will likely appreciate.

Honestly, if you don't push the car it won't push you back. Even if you do, the car is modern enough that nannies will help you as you grow into it.
The other option of course is a Grand Sport. The looks (better than Z IMO), the upgraded little bits, but the slightly smaller drive train for comfort.

I do like the Grand Sport option. They are lookers for sure.

911 S/C or a 911 Carrera 4s from around '02, if you can find one.

I haven't driven the R129, but I have driven the SL before and after that one. They were both extremely comfortable cars. Not overpowered—just a strong, buttery smooth push up to speed until you tell it to stop. Fun to push on the backroads or just tool around town with the top down.

Everything you listed is a good option though.

Honestly one of my favorite looking vettes.
Also more collectible/rare than a regular 'vette, so it has that going for it too. Not collectible like the other GS's in history, but at least somewhat limited haha.

Honestly, from that list i'd get the 993.
If you really are in the market for a summer toy, I'd also suggest looking for a Z3 M Clownshoe, Cayman R, or Audi TT RS.

A BMW, because there are only so many 911s left and I want to own one someday. Yes. I'm being selfish right now. Cool if we trade for a weekend?

A low mile 928 in real good nick will put you about 20 large or so, still fun, very rare, quirky cool.

I'm 6'1 225.. ish. I fit, especially for a summer, plus under budget which means an extra set of tires.
