I tried to keep the options very realistic. As far as the 60kWh battery, I don't think the 85 kWh is nessecary. 5.9 to 60 is still okay, and 120 mph top speed is good enough. Range might a small issue, but I think it's still sifficient. How would Oppo do figure a model S?

I saw a grey one with black pano roof and black turbine wheels. That's how I'd option mine! Or White with black turbine wheels and D motor on both of course.

Yeah, my friend has a P85 like you described. While the turbine wheels do look nice, they aren't necessary. The Model S looks really good in white!

I'd get it in white with no premium options at all for just under $59,000.

But if money was no option, I'd get it in red with the dark 21" wheels and EVERY premium option. (excluding winter tires and sub-zero package, since where I live it's rare for the temperature to drop out of the 20s, if it gets there in the first place, and winter is only a month long.)

I drive a Volt. It's a great intro to Daily Driving an EV. What's great about it is that you don't have to worry about range at all, and you can learn a LOT more about your real-world driving habits. Based on my driving, I would NEED the 85kWh or else I would need to swap cars with my wife once or twice a week. Even with 85kWh I'd be pushing it for my daily driver. _MOST_ days I drive about 30-35 miles. But at least once a week I'll do closer to 180. With the ability to run the heater, I would need the larger battery.

I went all out. Interior has the black Next Generation seats, Obeche wood gloss, black alcantara, and the jump seats. All the options except the rear spoiler and including extra tires and rims were checked off. Total cost? Just under $150,000. If I had the money, why not?

Yeah. I haven't heard about the Next Generation seats, are they innovative in some way?

They're basically for sporty driving.

I would go for a fully loaded P85D. Because super sedan that can seat 7 people and can accelerate them from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds. With the new gen seats that look so comfortable.

And a similarly priced Audi S8 has less horspower and would cost way more in gas.
