Many cars sold in the South don't have it cause it never gets cold enough for the windows to freeze up. The last car I bought came from California and it doesn't have it either.
Still, how much of a POS does a car have to be to list defroster as an option in the ad? It's like the guy ran out of worthy stuff to write about the car so he put that in just to make it appear like the car has options.

That's true, all valid points. But I kid you not, the dealership that sold my car listed these as options(power options): radio, air conditioning, and (this is what's truly laughable) intermittent windshield wipers!

I live in the Grosse Pointe area, and this asshole rolled past the local high school (Grosse Pointe South) frequently. He is a certified asshole, and the price on this car confirms this. It is a riced out, beat up piece of shit worth no more than 1500 or so.
