I wake up to go to cars and coffee around 7:00am. Not having to show a car has it's advantages for sure. When I opened the garage door I felt the air temperature. "It's actually nice out," I thought to myself, deciding then and there to leave my jacket at home. A decision I would come to regret when I left from visiting the in-laws after cars and coffee. December... Texas, I truly have a love hate relationship with your weather patterns.
When I arrived it was clear the weather made it one of the most successful Cars and Coffee yet.
It was another month for firsts, but I will only mention one of the two. (if you really have to know, click !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ). I finally saw the McLaren P1! It looked (and sounded) awesome. There are few things better than seeing exotics haul ass. And they did. I have some prime acceleration clips in this edition. You could honestly turn off the screen and just listen to some of the exhaust notes and still be entertained.
The "Banzaiiii awesome 1000hp" GTR. He got on it too. I like the wrap a lot, and the sound was great. Another GTR was in it's wake... Symphony!
This month the footage was shot with a borrowed Sony 6000 with the 16-50mm kit lens. For those that have watched my previous videos I would love some input on which you think is better. I am seriously thinking about buying that camera.
Enjoy... and fingers crossed... hopefully I'll be back in January 2015 @ Cars & Coffee Dallas!

I'm an idiot for not going, I missed a P1. How could I?! Not to mention all of the 15's. I just had to sleep in...
Nice video, as for the camera, I have no idea. I would use whatever you think is best. But you got some nice footage.

Dat Hellcat. Dat Blue boosted 240z(?) Dat CLS. Dat Martini Porsche 991. Dem Murcielagos. Dat Boss 302 and Dat Noble.
Good stuff. Although, I hate it when people do burnouts on public roadways and especially when they almost lose it in traffic (blue challenger)

I need photocamera anyway... But the more people that say "DO ITTTT" the more I am inclined to just pull the trigger in the coming weeks.
And yes... The year ended with some super awesome cars! Lets hope the next year begins with some!

That is that line people shouldn't cross. It makes for some awesome footage, but when stuff goes sideways it can really go sideways in traffic... Not to mention the ramifications when it indeed goes sideways... Cars & Coffee Dallas is very much in jeopardy.
And... I agree with all those "DATS" :D

Well, I'm going to say, do it!!!!!!!
Also I can't believe the people who ran across the road before the Buggatti and P1. You'd think they would be smarter in front of some really fast cars, but no!

I was not too thrilled about that either. Don't get me wrong, my ass was on that median too. But at least I got the common sense to cross when there are no cars about to do 0-60 in under 3...

There's no problem going over there, but like you said. Under 3 second 0-60 cars there.
I'm kind of surprised they let those people go there. I went up to the grass a good distance before the road a few months ago and someone yelled at me for being there. Apparently I had to be on the sidewalk, not a foot past it. Now people go all the way to the other side of the road. I made that picture worth it though....

Man, is it normal to have that many cars almost lose it every month? Obviously the Mustang guy really did crash, but it looked like a handful of others got pretty close as well...

This was by far the worst it has ever been... November was pretty bad too. It is the lack of enforcement. I don't like cops at every exit, that is a bit too much. But, having a presence will make people think twice about doing something really stupid.
But, I can't deny that the sounds of all those cars going WOT. I mean... did you hear that GTR? That Porsche? That Huracan? Soo beautiful! That would not have happened in the same fashion with police presence. But, I'd like to think that mustang crash would not have happened either. I'd settle for 0-60 runs if that is what it takes (Cops let that slide for the most part it seems, they grab the people that burn rubber and haul 60+).
I hope to never have to make a video like that again.

Yeah, I've been to Dallas C&C a few times, and there was always a police presence there, so I'm surprised this month was different. And yeah, those cars sound fantastic, no doubt about it but that stuff isn't worth risking getting the whole event cancelled.
