$kaycog was crazy awesome enough to give my authorship on here, I can tell you already that this will ultimately result in Oppo being flooded blessed with Doug DeMuro-esque posts about my own automotive odyssey.
On a serious note, thanks for letting me post on here. I've been active on Jalopnik and many other car related sites for a couple years now and have owned quite a few cars over the last 3 years (yeah I'm not that old). I used to be in the GTA and NFS modding scene creating cars you normally wouldn't find in those games which also lead me to my current job.
If people are interested I'd love to write about how life is in the UK as a German trying to get a huge, beat-to-shit gracefully aged american land yacht back on the road (shits crazy y0, seriously) and why you have to be completely insane dedicated trying to attempt this. Would you be interested in reading about something like that?
For now, have a picture of pure automotive perfection:
Please ignore the A6 diesel Avant on the left...

Your screen name looks familiar. Did you convert NFS cop cars into GTA?

I posted in a couple of threads recently but never created topics myself before. I am the guy who's looking for an Olds Aurora as well, now you might see why. :)

Ah, gotcha! I can see why you are having troubles finding an Aurora; they must be rare as hell over there. That black Aurora I posted about has since been sold :(
Is that your Mark VIII in the photo?

Yup it is, only 1st gen LSC in Europe I know of! There seems to be guy in Poland who has (or had) an Aurora, there are 2 or 3 in Switzerland and probably a few more in the rest of Europe, but they never sold them here, so like the Mark VIII, every exotic Ferrari or Lamborghini is more common here.

Damn, nice! That's hilarious that cars like that over there are basically exotics. I would take great pride in telling some Ferrari owner that my car is more rare than his. Lol

Well, you in the States can always import some odd french hatch or a Lancia from the 80s, there are still plenty around here.

Eh, unless its a nice example (which I cannot afford), its really not worth the hassle. Plus, I'm more of an American car guy. Not that I don't like some European stuff, but still.

Yeah, it is pretty expensive, thats why I would always prefer getting are car here instead of importing one myself. There are no restrictions so theres always a small chance finding what you are looking for sooner or later.

It's always nice to see more European people who are into US steel here. Welcome!
I found one Aurora for sale in Estonia . It's a parts car though. Estonians seem to like newish US imports so you might get lucky if you search there.

Ha awesome, I'd buy that for 30 Euros! I noticed that there is a surprising amount of american cars in Poland and probably the rest of east Europe. Too bad I can't read anything, I don't really wanna buy another car with expensive to buy parts that needs tons of work again either.
