Honestly, some time-attack racers have ridiculously huge spoilers, in ridiculously weird places. How much down force do you really need anyway?

I wonder when they will start strapping small turbines to the car and pointing the exhaust to the sky. Down force even standing still!

Or better yet, some RCS thrusters.

KSP is the best game ever made. I just finally built a successful SSTO, able to bring 5 passenger into High Orbit or a medium sized satellite in Low Orbit, depending on configuration.
