My daughter has shown some interest in cars, but not a lot. She has some hot wheels and a big toy truck, she plays with them some, but not much (she prefers to play with anything that has a zipper, small containers, and blankets more than anything). In the last week though, whenever a car commercial comes on TV, she screams, "CAR!"

OK, so it sounds like, "COW!" but she's two years old, so that just makes it cuter. She will then say, "Hi car!" over and over again, until the commercial ends, and then, "Bye-bye car!"

Daddy smiles, Mommy laughs, life is good.

Don't tell ME Jalop isn't genetic.

It might skip a generation. It's definitely recessive, considering the Jalop-to-normal person ratio.

In the nature versus nurture debate, I'd say it's a little from column A, and a little from column B.

I'd say that's a safe bet. My grandpa was huge into Cadillacs, but neither of my parents think of cars as anything but transportation. And then there's me, I have a crisis anytime a I hear a v8
