Jeremy Clarkson was 100% accurate in his review. I took it out without knowing it had to be in M mode to activate all the performance settings and was left totally underwhelmed.
I took it back out in M mode (and everything in the most hardcore setting possible) after spending some time with the owners manual and what a difference! It was moist out so I didn't really push it, but the way it accelerate is truly impressive for a car and the shifts are downright ferocious.
Also that V10 makes one of the best noises my right foot has ever been in control of, and as a guitarist who likes to use effect pedals, that's quite a compliment. But the fuel economy...

No, I'm actually excited about it, that's a new record for me. Best before this was 8.2 average MPG over 15 gallons in my FR-S.

Track days :)
I've actually heard some autocross guys get into the 5's, but that is mostly idling in the queue waiting for their next run.
