I have been hot on the heels (or maybe not so hot) on a black 100LS in New Jersey. The owners just wont sell and it is in a similar predicament. I saw it first 15 years ago, and it is still there. I love the early 70's Audis, ever since owning my green Super 90. Does the 100 use inboard brakes too?

Go full SpeedyCop: lengthen the tail and stick the 100's drivetrain back there. Make a 6WD 4100CSQ. Then build a crazy hyperrally/bosozoku body kit out of plywood and coroplast.
