Kinja'd!!!

I need a new office chair, the mesh Eames is great (and exactly like the one on the left) but I need something with a headrest, a bit more comfortable and preferably upholstered in leather. Any tips or options?

Find Nibby. Or Nibby will find you, and show you how it's done.

I think 5 tiny wheels work better than one normal sized wheel.

How about armrests?

Has casters on the bottom so it actually does move

Armrests unnecessary.

Whats your budget? I got super lucky when I started my job, the last person to use my office had a steelcase chair and left it!

Do I spy a Radical SR4, like this one?

Kinja'd!!!

I took this one at a track near Vegas.

About the price same as the Eames as I'm thinking about selling it, so around 1,300.

Just took a quick look around and I'm not sure that there's one I like more than the Eames lol.

I love that chair but the lack of a headrest is destroying my neck.

I have the opposite problem, no matter how good the chair. I always find my self leaning forward, I need something that zaps me when I break posture.

Definitely the Steelcase Leap. Picked by the wirecutter as the best office chair and has a headrest option. No question this is the way to go. Configure the chair you want on their website, I think they even have a sale going on now.

How about a Recaro Office chair ?

That's pretty cool. I'd personally go for a CSL seat as well while I was at it though.

Those look awesome. And relatively speaking, not expensive.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing, and haven't come to a final conclusion.

However, here's a good writeup of chair options. I'm going to give the Ikea Markus a try because it's cheap and I may as well start there. But the Steelcase Leap (which you can get with a headrest) and the Humanscale (ditto) appear to be good options. I had a Humanscale Freedom in the last job, and it was pretty good.

Good idea, I bet an E36 M3 vader would look great too.
