This week my favourite is "Feather" by Nujabes. Just puts a smile on my face while suffering from heavy traffic. What gets you to live through the day?

It takes me an hour to and from work everyday. I plug my phone to the car and either set it on Howard Stern or a long mix of thrash metal. Though, I do bounce away from those on occasion.

I stopped listening to music on my commute since I take public transit and like to be aware of my surroundings. However, when I used to commute to work by car, it would really depend: I'd just grab a CD long enough for the trip there and back and pop it in.
Man, I miss being able to do that.

The sound you need always has good stuff, a little on the chill side imo though. I'm more partial to the stuff MrDeepSense
& Selected put out.

Female vocalist lately: Metric, Lissie or Madeline Peyroux.

I was listening to Sevendust but I swapped it out for some Authority Zero. I really need to get some more music.

Who ever Pandora decides to throw at me on the bus ride to school.

I listen to the burbling sounds of my exhaust note and the roar of my engine as the RPM crescendos followed by the click of the gears as they match the rhythmic pace of my heartbeat.

Fell in love with Lissie through "Dollhouse". Interdasting TV series.
Maurissa Tancharoen's "Remains" was inspired by this series.

I recently discovered these guys thru one of the rare times I listen to Pandora - Very crunchy, can't beleive they've been around so long and I'd never heard of them.

Doesn't that use up crazy amounts of data? Or is that satellite radio?

Not really. My ride is only like 5-10 minutes depending in weather. I only use maybe .7 GB a month from Pandora. Maybe that's a lot. Idk

How much data do you have on your plan? My wife and I share 2GB so .7 is a lot.

6gb between 3 people. .7 might be an overestimation though. Not sure the exact amount I use solely on Pandora.

Woo, 3 year old necropost.
Excuse me though, because the album containing Feather (Nujabes - Modal Soul) is on YouTube.
It’s one of my all time favourites, so I’d say it’s definitely worth a listen.
Enjoy~

I got it last weekend from the same place. Nice to know there’s another Opportunity out there that likes this.
What did you think of the CD?
