In London this morning at 11:08 A.M. Sam Mendes announced the title, cast, and shooting locations of the 24th James Bond film, titled Spectre . Oh, he brought the brand new Aston Martin DB10 with him, too.
There are literally no details on the car from the press event, as it was sort of more for the film and not necessarily the car. But hey, what better way to show off new sheet-metal when you have James Bond in your pocket. It's a little reminder of when they introduced the DBS, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I'm sure more details of the car are to come later today. Until then, here's what !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Spectre will begin its seven-month shooting schedule by the end of the year. It is the 24th movie in the official Eon Production James Bond franchise, and will begin filming in London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee & Austria. The main cast are confirmed to be Daniel Craig as James Bond, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, and Andrew Scott, as well as the MI6 staff established in Skyfall returning with Ralph Fiennes as M., Naomi Harris as Monepenny, and Ben Wishaw as Q. Let's hope that last one gets to work on Bond's DB10. The release date is scheduled for November 6th, 2015, and below is the short synopsis:
"A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."

Some say only 10 of them will be made. Don't know if it's true though.

Perhaps 10 models will be used for filming, all with various degrees of finish for stunts and shooting.

Aston Martin themselves just confirmed this. Seems to be a massive mistake. http://www.astonmartin.com/en/live/news/2…

I'm iffy on the taillights, but the rest of it is sexy as hell.

So it might just be concept car then. And from the looks of it, it could almost pass as a rebodied V8 Vantage. The length of the wheel base, the overall shape, the roof, ...

This is blowing up on instagram like the FXXK. People commenting on the DB10 are all saying "IT LOOKS LIKE AN F-TYPE WAHH WAHH!!"
They clearly never saw a DBS, or a DB7 for that matter. Aston had this look first.
That being said, the DB10 looks like a sensible evolution of the design. I'm not a fan of GREY GREY GREY ALL OVER EVERYTHING though.

I'm not impressed, tbh. Incredibly evolutionary upgrade. I much prefer the look of the One-77.

Awkward looking rear quarter panel, generic looking front fascia, ungainly arch to the shape of the body, ill proportioned greenhouse, 2/10 do not like.
