My work got canceled this weekend, which sucks kind of because that means 16 or so less OT next check. So need to clear some space in garage to replace 05 Equinox EGR valve & pipe because a TSB was put out about the pipe they designed in 05 was crap and bent causing exhaust leak. I've been putting this off for too long so I finally ordered a lot from rock auto and housing was busted. Send that back & new one comes today. Bummer is that I still have to take it in to get PCM flashed to not throw a code.
So that's my weekend plans. Also try to work on getting metro to pass inspection and get CEL off to pass emissions.

We had an EGR fail on our Renault a little while back. There was a little trick that you could rotate it so that the valve would basically be deactivated but the ECU would still think it was working so there was no CEL you get by blanking them off.

It sucks that you lose out on the OT. I'd actually kill for a few hours right now. OT can hurt you though, at least you'll get some time to get it to pass the E test.
