For about 6 miles this morning, I was behind an unmolested RSX-S who was behind an E92(debadged and tinted, I assume 335i) and we were all stuck behind a Grand Caravan doing 45 in a 50. I was running late and I guess they were both as frustrated as I was, because the second the lane split into two and we could pass all you heard were 14 cylinders at wide open throttle. It was kinda cool. My car for your time.

Nice, love when that happens. I wonder if the Caravan driver even realized they were being a fuckin mook.

last time that happened to me I punched it only to come flying around the corner and see the popo. And that's how I got a ticket for 93 in a 65 and a blockbuster traffic school vhs

How do you like the dart? I don't know anyone with them so my only impressions are when I see them on the road (relatively rare) or pictures online. I briefly considered them when car shopping but no hatchback meant no deal for me. I was also a little worried about reliability since Chrysler isn't known for being super reliable in the long run.

Cool story! I love when I "meet" other enthusiasts on the road. One time I was in my 6MT Maxima (with exhaust) in front of a Civic Si. He must have caught on, and as we turn onto a four lane road he pulls a little bit in the lane next to me. We get to the next traffic light, and it turns green. We keep our revs high and pickup speed, now single file on a two lane road. Next thing you know, we're doing 60+ in a 35 on an empty, beautiful park road. I love the little reminders that enthusiasts are real, they're not just my close group of friends or people on the internet.

It is very rare that I come across another enthusiast.

I love it but you were right to be wary of the reliability. I've seen a lot of members in my Faceboom Dart group having issues, I've had a few myself but nothing major. Also, I do love the car but I had to do several modifications to get to a point where I'm content with how it performs. Out the box it's a decent car, but for the enthusiast it needs aftermarket support.

I can do in excess of 100+ on that stretch of road safely and without fear of lurking cops.

Nope, on her phone and totally oblivious. She even got into the left lane when it split, so we had to pass on the right.

I love it, but I've also spent quite a bit on upgrades to get it to a point where I'm really happy with it's performance. Even still, it needs a tune but I don't have the money right now.

Southern Michigan. Where the highways are divided with grass and forrests with little holes cut out for the fuzz
