...is being designed right now. Maybe a week or so I asked for some tire tread patterns. I got a bunch of good suggestions, maybe of which i'm using but I would like to get some more variety in this. initially I was going to keep it to just racing tires but i started seeing that there wasn;t a whole lot of variety. So i think I might open it up to road tires or some other stuff. I'm working with a buddy and we were debating maybe using the dot dot dash tread of the Mars Rover as well. What do you guys think? Any other treads you would like to have on your next T-shirt? I'm meeting with my buddy tonight to finish this thing off.

I've always thought the BFG KDW's have a pretty cool tread pattern.

If you don't include BFG All Terrains, something may happen

(that thing that may happen is I may pout)

I had a piece of one of these tires smack my face when it blew up. Customer rode on it for a long time low because of a nail. They filled with air but it got low again before they brought it to me. I couldn't tell from the exterior sidewall that it was worn on the inside thin from all their driving. I put about 40psi in it just to make the soapy water work a little better. At around 38 the thing popped right in my face. A 3 or 4 inch piece where it says g-force hits me right in the cheek.

Might not be as bad as you think. If you simplify it a little it will still be recognizable. The main tread looks to be a pretty simple pattern of arcs and line segments. You could get one side figured out and then mirror it and shift it slightly to get the other side.

How do you get a tire pattern brush in Photoshop? I need one for a Blipshift design.

what do you think about using the rover wheel pattern? Would it be cool or should i stick to cars. I already have a couple motoGP tires in there too

If you are doing a variety, definitely throw the mars rover in there. Judging from the above, image, are you doing a bunch of rows of tread next to eachother? I think that could look pretty damn awesome.
