It was a Geo Metro. Probably cost my folks $500. Or they got it for free from a client who owed them money.

Thing is, I never asked for it. I thought it would be unreasonable to ask for a car for my birthday, so it was quite a surprise.

mine was '78 UC Holden Torana for $6,000 at the time it was 13 yrs old , 1 owner with low km's

i flogged the shit out of it for 2 years/75,000km

worst thing about it was the brakes.

not sorry to see it go either
