Toyota MR2
737
Toyota Camry
747
Toyota Land Cruiser
757
A Stretched Limo

Acura RLX
777
Stretched Hummer
787
Lexus LFA

The 757's more of an E-type Jag.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

I think the 787 is more BMW i8.

If 747 is Land Cruiser, then 777 is Sequoia (little less image, also serves nearly same purpose...)
Still, awesome post, hope to see more soon!

Nice. I'd peg the 707 at least as a Model A though. The 747 is more of an F150 to me, a big, ubiquitous, durable workhorse that's been around forever.

Nah, considering that the 717 was a McDonnel-Douglas design sold as a Boeing, it's more like one of those AMC designed- Chrysler built first gen Jeep Grand Cherokees.

The 757 is far off. That thing is a rocket.

I'd say the 707 is closer to this
Big but not a lot of space, looks faster than it actually is, the JT8Ds are smokier than an off strip Vegas casino in the '70s, and OMG the chrome/bare metal!

Okay, which bloated car do you think embodies the Beluga?

The 777 is a long twin-aisle behemoth, a stretched Hummer is the only choice, really.

Also a good choice.

I guess, but since 747 and 777 are both for long haulage, and the 777 is pretty damned wide too (but I guess a Hummer limo isn't narrow, but the 747 is surely as long or longer than the 777...)

I say Ferrari because these catch on fire and have a ton more issues than any other boeing airplane.

Great idea for a post but I have to disagree with the choices:
-my anti-Toyota bias kills me when I see that the 737, the world's workhorse, is compared to a Camry, if anything it should be a Hi-Lux but from my point of view, it's a Panther car: tons made, continually improved performance, reliable a f*ck, extremely popular and available in any condition from near-wreck to total luxury with a huge used market.
The 777: probably the classiest plane in the skies, with great efficiency, superior handling compared to almost any other plane: so I would never see it as that tacky POS that is the stretch hummer. To me, the 777 is like an Audi Q7 TDI. Super expensive but really good.
747: everybody's been in one when they were a kid and has fond memories of the type, however, when they get into one today, they freak out at how old and retro it feels: Chevrolet Impala.
787: a company takes a leap of faith producing a brand new vehicle, using unusual materials and systems with huge fanfare: everybody's so stoked that -no matter how good the product is- the launch is a huge letdown. Chevy Volt
Once again, great idea for a post. this is fun!
