Pretty funny. I lived in China for a year and a half. Massage parlors everywhere.

So if you don't go whoring it's ok to take the drugs?

Many years ago, I, my wife, and her family traveled to Denmark. As we walked to our hotel from the Copenhagen train station, I was approached by a prostitute. I politely declined. Later, as my brother-in-law and I were sitting in the hotel lobby, a man came in with the same woman on his arm. They went upstairs together, and the concierge promptly got on the phone to the guest. "Hello, sir. We do not allow guests in the hotel. I think you know what I mean. Thank you." A couple minutes later, the man and the prostitute left together, and about an hour later the man returned alone.

And vice versa....whoring is cool as long as you don't take the drugs.

The annoying thing is that they would have gotten the same reaction if the girl wasn't an escort, but anything from a friend to a internet found romance or even a girl that the guy met at a club or something. Hotels with conservative policies should mention that on their website or make that clear to you when you are checking in.

My guess is that the concierge recognized the girl from the neighborhood. I'm sure she's a regular.
