"heliochrome85" (heliochrome85)

Hey guys, I have a few hours to kill before going in to work. I figured I'd give you guys the opportunity to ask me any burning questions you've had.
I've been a car guy all of my life. I rode in my first Mercedes back in 1992, when my uncle got one of the first W140 300SE's with the in-dash cell phone and pneumatic doors. My first car was a 1995 Cadillac STS (Dark Adriatic Blue over Dark Blue Leather). That was traded in when I went off to college. Since then the progression of cars has been 2000 Acura 3.2TL (silver/black), 2006 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe (blue/grey), 2011 Kia Optima EX (cherry/tan) and now my current car, a 2014 BMW 328i M-Sport.
I am a physician, specializing in adult diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, etc). I genuinely love what I do and feel that all the work I've had to put in to reach this point is very worth it.
I have a little bit of free time, divided up between car events, reading, movies, and travel.
What burning questions can I answer for you?

I've seen it all. Id say the scariest is always the GI bleeders. Either people with bad livers and distended veins in their stomach/esophagus that rupture (variceal bleed), or in one case, an atrial-esophageal fistula, where there is a connection between the atria of the heart and the esophagus. In both cases, someone can bleed out in front of you with little you can do to save them.

M6 GranCoupe I think. The rest of the line up isn't the best in their niche.
M3/M4 - Id probably go ATS-V or C63 or C7
5 Series- CTS/E-Class
6 Coupe/Vert - SL400
Z4 - Cayman
7 Series - S-Class.

Mein '87 Mercedes 300D (not pictured) vas DUNKELBLAU (zat is dark blue for you non-Germans) UND, I hated ze color. But it was MBTex, and no one would buy an MB vizout leazther. Sticker $42,570, bought it for $34,800 on the last day of the year. Six window motors later (and other sundry items) I sold it.

Forgot to add photo of DUNKELBLAU E-class to original post. It's there now. Trap oxidizer and turbo went at 76K, but Mercedes made it good b/c they realized the engine/turbo combination was a problem. I think that's the only year we got that engine.

I have been thinking for a while nc would be a good state in which to live. There's seasons, but it's not stupid like here (you know...snow from November thru to Mid April). Then again having such a long winter makes you appreciate summer all the more.
The crackhead was right though....beer is good. For your morale.

Life as a doctor isn't all that different from scrubs. I tend to avoid all medical shows, largely because I have enough of that in my real life.

I know what you mean, I avoid most car shows for the same reason. Most car shows and their characters are so unrealistic and terrible at what they're supposedly great at that I want to quit the industry so that I can't be associated with them.
So which scrubs character fits you best?

The W140 was the first car I rode in (that I remember, I was like 2ish)! My grandfather lent his to my mother for a couple weeks when her minivan died in the middle of an intersection. I just remember watching the rods go out as the car backed out and thinking that was bizarre.
