We did a test run last night. Super fun and the racing was a lot closer than the GTs. Even I was competitive running automatic.

First, tell me your gamertag and I'll get you into our car club since we send out lobby invites from the club screen on race day. If you want to start your own lobby just make a post here on Oppo and you'll probably get a few people wanting to join, and there's an option in the race lobby that lets you invite anyone in the club garage that's online so you don't have to individually message people.

Also what's this essentials bundle I've been seeing. They say it doesn't come with disc 2 but if I still have all the save files would I be able to get away with just that copy? Or is more lIke a demo

Essentials includes only the first disc of cars but I would assume it works with your save data, at least your profile at least, most likely won't have access to all your cars but the rest should be there. IIRC most of the cars in both series are on the first disc anyways but don't quote me on that, might want to Google around and see. First race starts this Saturday, not to like rush you or anything.

Yeah, unfortunately most of the dudes racing in our GT series are broke college kids and Forza 5 just doesn't have the car or track selection to make a full series anyways. If you really wanted to you could probably Craigslist a 360 and Fourza for under $150 but obviously real cars take precedence over virtual ones so no worries.

Must have gone down recently. I checked on the price at a Gamestop back in October or early November and the full version was still $45. Ended up getting F1 2013 instead but even that, now a year old since 2014 released in October, was still $49. And this is on an old system. WTF.
