$600 to fix everything that could go wrong on the drive back to Utah. 10 days of throwing wrenches at the car to turn it from this:
To this:
Except it will be nothing like that at all. Just a slightly more reliable Z with an auto that needs to be destroyed once in Utah.

Wait, yours is an auto? I didn't know this. How far are you driving her?

Yup. Gonna be driving from Socal to northern Utah. About 800 miles. REALLY high hopes for the trans haha. My buddy says it feels fine and he's the one who's been working on it a little, so I'm confident...

Cool. Well good luck with the journey! The Z should treat you well on the highway. Stay clear of big rigs though cause they won't see you. I've been almost squashed more times than I can count haha

How did that go? I would think if you get the tranny into (4th? 4 speed auto?) it wouldn't have to work much and be ok, maybe. There is an old lady near me with an auto 72' dark green Z, original owner. She has no idea about it haha, asked me how she could redo the interior. I gave her my Z experts number since I don't want to do the job haha.
