Don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but it's been a year since we lost Paul. Doesn't feel like it's been that long, to me at least.

I was genuinely shocked when I saw that it had been a year today, to the point where I double checked on other websites to see if it was true. For some reason it feels nowhere near that long.

That's how I feel. In his honor I'm going to work on my FoST, and take a picture under the dashboard of my Fastback to help a fellow enthusiast.That's my plan.

Nooooooo. The feels. In his honor I'll take 5 minutes to do a 1/4 mile and shift 37 times. I just hope my floor doesn't fall out from manifold issues.

I took a morning drive to nowhere in his honor. I cant believe a year has gone so fast too.

Makes me think a bit about all the time ive wasted in the year.

If I didn't live in the city and have so much damn work I'd drive it a lot more. Going back to my hometown in a couple weeks though and the roads are pretty open there and no traffic, so I'll put some miles on it then. Soon...

We only get mild snow here usually, some years we get none, so I stay on the same tyres all year and will just deal with it if we get more snow than usual. In fact I'm looking forward to taking the car up to the giant supermarket car park if it does snow and fooling around since there's rarely any other cars in one half of the lot.

It's been 3-4 years I think since we had snow like that. I remember my stepdad trying to get his top heavy, slow Renault Scenic to behave and get us home. It was a long slow drive.

What I worry about is some moron kid who's watched too many F&F movies living fast and dying young into my car with my kids in it. The lesson that should be taken away from that tragic event should be that everyone can fuck up, not YOLO.
