Upon further examination - pretty sure this is a gray-market car. Hints - non-US bumpers, lack of a climate control system. This is not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to know.

Oh wait - looked in the specs. "European version" = gray market.

I feel like you would have to buy ten lesser versions of the same thing if you bought this one, they would be your convoy on the way to important UN meetings, flags waving on the fenders and everything. But secretly you would be planning to start a war against one of your neighboring countries because you want to control their oil also. Some might refer to you as a "dictator".

Not even - if it has been here forever (likely) - I doubt anyone gray imports a 6.9 these days. Probably brought over in the 80s.

Not at all. The 25 year rule was created because Mercedes was losing tons of money on (among other things) this very model. Absolutely no problems with it.
