Can't help, but I can offer my condolences. (Though I have to admit, the tech has gotten better over the last couple decades, it's almost useable. But the licensing... oh god.)

I've dealt a fair bit with SQL Server, and I'm currently using Python at work (although it is definitely not as good as my C#). Fire away.

Some of the licensing is actually pretty good these days. At least if you are a small business, there's really quite a lot you can get away with using for free.*

* Just don't ask me to ever work on PostgreSQL. Please.

I'm trying to create a Subaru "registry" for a project coming up in a few weeks and I'm trying to get a foreign/primary key relationship to work - to no avail.
