What kind of crime did you commit to get that as your punishment?

Will find out when i get off work. V6 felt solid. I actually really liked the 6. Got me controllably sideways on a descending on-ramp.

Is. It. Rubbish.
.....
In all seriousness, I want to now how it drives and feels compared to a V6. How do the interior materials feel in comparison between the two. Just an overall comparison of the two inside and out would be very nice, please.

Does the door vibrate when you open it with the window down? You can even see it moving up and down. I went to a dealer to see the 2015 Mustang and noticed that. Not even a Daewoo Matiz does that.

ill inform about engine when I can drive it past 20. I wonder if the diff's are different between the two, cuz the turbo is more willing to get squirrely. Love the interior on both, but the premium takes the cake. Toggle switches, painted interior bits, nice leather seats and sync screen. The overall finish of the interior feels very upscale, where as the v6 reminded me greatly of the base FRS dash/interior.

Also, way too many buttons on thev6 dash. It felt un organized compared to the premium.

Alrighty. Would you say that the V6 dash quality is at least an improvement over the 2014 cars? How is the FR-S dash, good or cheap?
I know that you can get both the V6 and EB with either 3.31(stock) or 3.55(which is an option on the V6 and comes in the performance pack on the EB).
I'd like a GT in a year or two, but I'd only be able to afford a base if anything.

I imagine it felt organized compared to the premium because there aren't many buttons on the premium, and a touch screen to take up space. But I feel like having the touchscreen would be too much of a distraction?

Honestly, i decided last night that the base is totally liveable. It sounds nice, still lools gorgeous in person, has a decent interior with lots of included goodies, has plenty of power and has a banging auto trans. Id still get a manual, but with sport mode and paddles, it makes a commute enjoyable when desired, and relaxed when tired. V6 dash is quite an improvement. I was impressed until I got in the premium. Still not bad, just not as nice. I'm sure that's what ford had in mind.

Frs dash is simple and kinda cheap. Faux carbon fiber on both the frs dash and v6 mustang dash.

I agree completely with that. Have you had a go in the manual version of any of the S550s? Hows the clutch feel? I hope it isn't as light as my ST; everyone that's driven my car has complained that the clutch is so light it doesn't even feel like it's there, and as a result, has no feel. I noticed this after daily driving my 944 for two weeks then hoping back in the ST. It took me a good day of driving before I got back to driving it without stalling.
With the auto, does it change the shifting, making it quicker and more aggressive? Also, did the V6 have track apps, and line-lock?

Faux carbon fiber=Ewww
I'd probably dip the dash or cover it in some sorta metal or just something that looks nicer than that.

I've had no go's in manuals lately. We rent no manual cars, so I have no where to try any.
Auto V6, D to S means more aggressive shifts, later shifts, downshifts when slowing and better throttle response.
Auto Premium, D to S means very aggressive shifts, much later shifts, always above 2krpm, always downshifts when slowing (love that), much better throttle response.
I'll have more later. Let me have another go in the car. It is (the premium) a hoot though.

Rear seat was plenty useable. No one over 5' 11" for head-to-roof reasons

I didn't see or notice that. I saw this post and I tried to recreate what you're talking about and I couldn't.

Instant torque makes it better than the v6. I loved the ecoboost, and it's the reasons why I want to buy one of these mustangs now... but something needs to be done about the high-end range of rpms. Power drops to around 250 horses or so around 5700-6500. Gotta short shift it well before then and drop somewhere into the 3600-4200rpm range to continue the 300/300+ hp/torque.
it hoons. Love the way it handles. The car feels very premium now compared to 14 mustang and 15 camaro. It just carries itself like a BMW 3 series.. thats the best way I can describe it.
