Being busy with family shit today, I hadn't had time to tell you all that.
Has anyone else noticed how many Black Friday car commercials there are? Three in a row played earlier. There's only Ford, Kia, and GMC/Buick too. With a couple local dealer commercials mixed in. Though the 20% of the MSRP in cash back Buick and GMC is doing sounds pretty sweet.
Any way, my ass is sleeping in tomorrow. Then maybe changing the belt on the Shitfari and helping my mom take stuff to Goodwill.
I'm still eyeing that 65,000 mile '93 Sonoma I found yesterday. I showed it to my dad who half-assed looked at it, accusing the mileage to be a odometer rollback.
Still want it. Even though it's less powerful than my car I have already.

Was so lucky - noticed email from Uber saying they would pick up Goodwill donations on Tuesday, just hit "GIVE" on the app. Did that, and 7 minutes later a Suburban with a nice guy in it picked up the 3 bags of clothes/shoes we had already gathered. That's a good idea.

Came here for the S4 Avant, was not disappointed.
The Sonoma looks good, except you just have to keep in mind how mind boggling slow it would be.

It should actually feel about as fast as the Safari. It weighs half as much and has only 30 less horsepower. It's has 80 fewer ft-lbs of torque though. I'd say it's going to feel about the same to drive.

You should totally rebuild the engine on the Safari with lots of fun new parts, swap it onto the little truck and then sell the engine on the little truck and part out the van. Then you'll have a fun swap to talk about, and lots of extra profit from parting out the van.

Or I buy this truck that already has a 4.3 installed in it but needs a paint job. Then I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of an engine swap and could paint the truck to my liking. Then sell the van whole.

There ya go. And I presume you'd use the money from selling the van to get a decent paintjob?
I've just got a feeling that the other truck that you are talking about has a horrible red velour looking interior.

Kinda. Use the rest of my budget to paint it. I feel $3k would be plenty for a good paint job.
Actually, no. One has beige and the other has black.
