Well the people who run the company have pretty much universally shown themselves to be massive dickbags. Plus Uber doesn't seem to give a shit about its drivers & has been cutting fare prices while increasing the size of UBer's cut .

Well my Volvo is black on black, so I could go with UberBlack. It also gets good MPGs so I wouldn't worry too much about picking up UberX fares either

Of course if you call for UberX and get an UberBlack car, what's the point of requesting UberBlack?

I have an idea for a new TV show..

You become an Uber driver, mount a dashcam that watches your passengers, commence unrelenting hooning. If people get mad just tell them 'YOU'RE ON TV YO' and all will be forgiven.

Of course, "cui bono" falls into this as it does into all things, because one of the Buzzfeed execs pushing the "UBER IS TEH DEBIL" stories is heavily invested in the competition...

Which isn't to say that Uber aren't dickbags, heck no. It's just that the spontaneous trashing that has arisen lately isn't wholly spontaneous and you'd reward a completely different kind of bad behavior if you played into that by choosing the wrong alternatives.

I thought about it for a weekend gig or not sure if you could turn it on / off if you had free time on weekends.

I might turned down because 98 metro beater with no front seat. So users may not be fond of that. I could care less what they think. But then I get no moneys.

I would maybe even use my lifted XJ on weekend for shits & giggles, stuck up people may not like that either.

Only car we have that would pass is my wife's 05 Equinox. Kid seats reside in back seats and its trashed. Kids will do that.
