Mmmm, lowered Commer. I was looking for lowered Commer pics the other day and ran into a real horror story - the guy had bondo'ed away a number of holes, had the frame resting on the suspension arms, and some other absolutely terrible ideas. Apparently this can be done, but you have to do it right.

how much shit could you load in it though before you were dragging ass? I need to go on the hunt for a pic of my friends 1st gen scion xB we took on a trip to Ikea in MA. Goddamn thing was dragging ass the whole way back with shit 6 feet out the back of it. Awesome

In heavier vehicles Commer also used the weirdest diesel engine ever used in a vehicle. (Rootes-Lister) TS3 was a two stroke three cylinder opposed piston engine with a single crankshaft. I'm not sure if they they sold them here but I have seen one loose cylinder liner in my university's engine part collection.

I knew those two stroke Diesels were used in Aircraft but not cars and trucks. bet they sound awesome
